What
is Erasmus?
Erasmus
plus or Erasmus + is a program created by the European Union for training, work
experience, youth exchange and self-improvement in the sports arena. Erasmus is
a system established for the purpose of ensuring that universities and graduate
students and their education staff are able to continue their education at a
university abroad and that people can obtain new job opportunities. This
program, implemented within the scope of Lifelong Learning Program between 2007
and 2013, will be implemented as Erasmus + between 2014-2020.
Many
programs (Comenius, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig Programs and Youth
Program and 5 international cooperation programs: Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alfa,
Edulink and Industrialized Countries Cooperation Program), which are
operational under the name of Lifelong Learning, are now covered under the
Erasmus + On the personal side, Erasmi applications are very easy.
Erasmus,
a student exchange program, is part of Erasmus + and allows students to study
abroad or to work in a university abroad.

+ was established in order to provide international education and increase
cooperation between countries. It includes academic exchange and youth exchange
programs as well as internships and business associations in the field of
business and sports.
Educational Programs
You Can Benefit Erasmus
As
part of the Erasmus plus (Erasmus +) student exchange program you can go abroad
in two ways:
Studying
at a European university
Internship
in a European company
Students
may participate in both programs for one time only. Erasmus grants are limited
to a maximum of 12 months per student. It is also possible to combine studying
abroad with internship in one go.
